Some useful GIMP-links :

GIMP Plug-In Registry ]
Here is my first plugin I've written for GIMP. It is a plugin that allows you
to print an image directly to a printer ... It is outdated ... the printing
system that now is integrated into gimp is far better. I will leave it here for historical reasons ...
- View screenshot of the plug-in
- Get source code
- Get linux binary of printer:
- If anyone hase successfully compiled print for an other platform,
please mail me the binary, and a description of the machine. Then
I'll put it here.
Things to add to this plug-in
- Some layout redesign, to optimize widget placement
Changes since v0.04
Version 0.05 was not publically released ! Due to some hard bugs ...
- Changed menu text to "PostScript print ..." (to coexist with the other print plugin)
- Added parsing of /etc/printcap
- Added printer menu-list
- Added Makefile for easier compilation and installation
- Separated from GIMP source-tree
- You can download it now as gziped tar
Changes since v0.03
- Added preview function (Ghostscript needed)
- Fixed some bugs
Changes since v0.02
- Added destination feature, now printing into a file is possible
- Small design bugs fixed
Changes since v0.01
- Added printername box, so no longer a gcc is needed to change the printer :-)
My first Scheme Script for the Gimp
lcd.scm This Script-Fu makes a Text that looks like a LC-Display.
Some useful shell scripts for compiling plug-ins
- make_plugin.sh is a shellscript that
compiles a new plug-in by entering make_plugin name_of_new_plugin.
- plginstall.sh installs a new plugin by
entering plginstall name_of_new_plugin.
